Hanbok Inspired

Hanbok is a traditional Korean clothing that consists of a short yet long sleeve top and a long puffy skirt for women or pants for men. Below is a picture of a traditional hanbok worn by women.

I wanted to modernize that look and drew a dress that has a similar feel of the hanbok.

I did a new method of shading and need feedbacks! Oh yeah, I couldn't draw the actual because tulle is very hard to draw -_- Just pretend it's a white shirt XD (Looks like paper, doesn't it?)

Fresh Start :)

A few known that I was working on a summer issue of Runway Magazine. But after all, that isn't happening due to a cause (read previous post). And so, I am now going to post some of the graphics I made (the ones I am not as ashamed of). Also, I would like to thank Chicago3 for writing three articles for me. I feel really apologetic to her for not being able to publish Runway. But I'll still post her articles here.

From now, I shall focus on quality not quantity (I was rushing while I made these) And also, no more magazine making for me XD

Lost Interest..

I don't know if it's because I worked myself too hard last week on graphics or maybe I'm just not satisfied with what I made or simply lost inspiration.

Nonetheless, I think I've lost interest in Stardoll graphic making.

The important factor in my lost of interest is probably what you all think too - Stardoll is getting boring. And by the time, my addiction over Playfish games on Facebook, especially Restaurant City, Pet Society, Hotel City, and My Empire, tremendously altered my focus. In fact, my daily purpose as for right now is taking care of my "restaurant", "pet", "hotel", and "empire".

However, I won't be leaving Stardoll, yet. Nor will I delete this blog. I need a break, probably, and hopefully gain inspiration back...

And um... I really hate drawing clothes now XD 

Hey There!

A while since I posted and it is because I did not make any graphics for this blog so far :) Therefore, I brighten the mood, I will post some works I've done in the past. I don't think they'll (HilaryMad2659 and MissDancer853) mind me posting because Sarah left Stardoll and Lily is starting a new issue and changed the name of the magazine.

I know, they're similar in body position but that's how they wanted it :) Thoughts? They're kind of old...

New Layout! Say Bye to Childhood~

Hi~ Just came back from school 2 hours ago and I've finished my new layout! BWAHAHAHAHA~ XD
Anyways, the theme is kind of vague, just a female assassin/secret agent I guess... I was inspired by Jolin Tsai

Anyways, I'm so proud! I basically drew EVERYTHING except my Stardoll face. I DID not use a reference picture because I couldn't find one XD

By the way, the pose is like an epic yet awesome jump an assassin or secret agent would make in an acion movie. I've seen it in manga books, movies, even dramas! It's really cool haha. When I try to draw it, I was trying do it by jumping on my bed :)

 For those who haven't read about Recherche Magazine's new release yesterday, here is a reminder from me, the covergirl!! :D

The cover is amazing~~ And it was my first time being a covergirl ^^ It was so embarrassing for me to read my own interview! LOL

The Beach

Hello~ This weekend had been very non stressful to me and I am very grateful because next week will be STAR testing. Every year, we are forced to sit in a room for four hours filling in bubbles. *sigh~

I've gotten some good responses with tutorials so next time when I celebrate some amount of followers again, I'll be sure to make one ^^

Anyways, I made a new graphic! Yay~  Model is looc123. The other followers before her were not very active on this blog nor Stardoll so I skipped them >.<

No reference pictures which means..... I drew the pose all by myself :D Except for bag, it's from Stardoll and I like it! Go to the beach during the summer!

My review of the "product"------>
It's very similar to the the actual photoshop, or at least my version of it. It's got all those filters I don't use and tools I never gotten familiar with. Main features are: BURN, DODGE, LAYERS. Yep, that's pretty much all you need to get started for graphic making. HOWEVER, one bad thing about the brush is that it is very pixelized...And I hate it when the edges are not SMOOTH. So, it's your choice.

Also, one MAJOR feature they don't have..........
PEN TOOL!
Grr... pen tool is my BFF on photoshop. So I guess that wannabe photoshop is not my dish LOL

Spring Break

Hello! It's Spring Break for me! Boy, am I happy to be able to sleep 9+ hours a day and play computer all day (not really)! Anyways, I didn't make much graphics, however, but focused on making backgrounds. I've made many not-so-great backgrounds and I'd like to improve. Here are two that I've been working on...

Obviously, they're not done yet... And I would like some feedback on what I can improve or add ^^
